Basic terms and conditions for Dragon"s Nest Bakery orders.
Payment Due
You pay, I’ll bake! Payment is required up front so that I can source your cute cutters, spectacular sprinkles, fabulous food colors and the perfect packaging. Your payment will reserve your pick-up date too!
No show, No treats
Your baked treats are best enjoyed fresh. Not showing up to the agreed upon pick-up time, forfeits your order. But take heart, they will be donated to a family in need. Need to reschedule your pick-up? No problem! Please reach out 48 hours prior to your pickup time.
Refunds
I can offer refunds up to 24 hours after the payment has been accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, I cannot offer refunds as items for your order have likely already been purchased or ordered. But the good news – you get the treats!
Delivery
All orders are pick-up only. Delivery can be an option if you live within 30 miles of the pick-up location with an additional fee of $50.00! ( I love a good drive, bonus if that drive is past any place that sells soft serve!).
Pick Up Dates and Times
Delivery and pick up times are set upon ordering. This is because other customers need their sweet fix too! We have bulk pick-up dates to accommodate most schedules – so put that cookie pick-up in your calendar!
Change Cut-off
Decisions are tough! But we’re here to help. Order changes can be made until 7 days prior to pick up date. After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee will apply.
Inspiration
Thanks tons for bringing those inspo pictures! They are just that – inspiring. But your treats may not be perfect replicas – we’ll try to keep it close.
Covid Care
We know that you can’t control when you have come in contact with a person who has Covid, and we want to work with you. Need to reschedule your event? We can freeze most treats for 2 weeks so you can stay home and rest.
In a hurry?
In a hurry? While I can’t accommodate all last minute orders, I will make my best effort to. Orders placed with a turnaround time of under 7 days will require a rush fee of $45.00.
Price Adjustments
All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredients costs. I’m always trying to provide the best tasting cookies to my clients. This also means that I can’t honor old pricing (because the grocery store won’t honor their old egg prices – darn it).
Product Photography
Say Cheese!! We create replicas of client orders to photograph these pretty sweet lookin’ sweets. If you do not want your treats in the spotlight, please let me know at the time you place your order. Secrets are safe with me.
Copycats
Copyright images (think Star Wars and Peppa Pig) are protected and I won’t be able to replicate them onto baked goods (who wants a cookie controversy, right?). We can make a similar color palette though so let’s talk!
Pictures are Worth a Thousand Words
But they are not always accurate. Colors and lighting in photos may be slightly different than what you may end up with. Also, cookies in photos may not be true to size! (Which is a bummer, I’d frankly love to eat an 8.5x11 inch brownie!!!)

It's All Yours Now
Once you pick-up your order (thanks again, by the way), what happens to your cookies, cakes, and car doors (I hate door dings) is all on you! Keep them safe, keep them cool, and keep them away from the parking lot cart returns.
Ship Shape
As much as I would love to hand deliver each and every batch, unfortunately, I often need the help of USPS. I do my best to package these treats for a rough ride, but broken or damaged treats are a possibility and a non-refundable risk you take when placing a shipped order. Also – while I ship Priority, I can’t guarantee that “rain, sleet, snow or hail” won’t delay your order. Refunds can’t be offered – but know that they’re on their way. Once tracking information is provided, claims for lost orders can be placed with USPS.
No Ghosts
No Ghosts (I’m easily spooked). To get your order just right, I’ll need you to reply to my messages within 4 hours – otherwise, I may just have to wing it (I’m good at wingin’ it – just ask my eyeliner). Questions for me? Please give me about 24 hours to reply – I’m usually covered in dough!
Achoo! Allergies?
Baked goods are often made with foods that can be known allergens such ass eggs and wheat. While I can do my best to accommodate I can’t always accommodate allergy-conscious orders. Please do reach out – I may have a perfect referral for you!
Cottage Food Laws
This order has been made in a home kitchen not inspected by The Henry County Department of Health. Our kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, gluten free. Boring disclaimer, but we have to say it per the law.
The Risks
You’re consuming food, and with the consumption of anything (including that bottle of wine last night) there are inherent risks. Choking hazards, food illnesses, and allergic reactions are possibilities – albeit hopefully far reaching.
Weather
If pickup is impossible due to inclement weather, your order will be heat sealed for a later pickup date. Unfortunately, no refunds can be offered due to weather (darn tornados), but we will make sure your order is kept as fresh as possible!
Refunds
While we want you to love our treats, if you are not satisfied with your order, please return all uneaten treats within 24 hours so we can assess their condition and troubleshoot any problems. We will then determine if a credit may be issued for a future order.
Bulk Order?
Due to the custom work required for each treat, we are unable to extend discounts regardless of quantity. If you have a specific budget you are working with, feel free to let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to offer you a solution that fits your budget

Pay means Yay! Once you’ve submitted payment for your order because you’re awesome, you’re accepting the above terms. Which is awesome because my treats are awesome. Awesome!
What Happens in an Emergency?
While I hope it never happens, sometimes emergencies come up and I am unable to complete an order. If this happens, I will let you know as soon as possible, and a full refund will be given.
